Created by sculptor Mario Ciaramella and designer Pietro Petrillo, Scritture is a series of three accordion-style sculpture books illustrating the story of a seed on recycled paper. The cover is made of Keep Life®, carved by hand with abstract symbols. The chemical-free process of this ecological material derived from shells of hazelnuts, chestnuts, walnuts, almonds, pistachios, and peanuts, infuses a distinctive olfactory quality adding a significant symbolism to the piece.
