Waiting For The Bus

Tenore Set of 6 Dessert Plates

$180

DESCRIPTION

This set of six dessert plates was inspired by the lively tradition of Vietri ceramics. Each piece was crafted entirely by hand and boasts small imperfections, precious marks of their handcrafted process, which involves shaping it on a lathe, two different firings on the kiln and, in between, a coat of white enamel and the hand application of the vivid colors of their surface. The main decorative elements are a series of dots that highlights the round shape of the pieces and a horn-shaped element that reproduces the good-luck charm, in Neapolitan "O' Curniciello".
