​As 2017’s much-awaited Milan Design Week approaches, discover a new address in Milan that complements the city’s stylish downtown: Senato Hotel Milano. A stately city center neoclassical style private residence recently converted to a striking boutique hotel where guests can experience the real Milan. Developed by promising architect Alessandro Bianchi, Senato Hotel, boasts 43 rooms furnished in bespoke design, elegance and classic Milanese hospitality.

​Owned by the Ranza family, this boutique hotel features a sophisticated allure and a rigorous and clean aesthetic. As you explore the rooms and common areas of this stunning palazzo, you will notice the elegant black & white chromatic interplay, the use of brass juxtaposed to wood, marble and velvet and more enchanting details and use of materials.

Among some of the many spectacular décor pieces inside Senato hotel, there are beautifully crafted wall lamps shaped into ginkgo leaves by the talented Milan-based artisans at Bottega Gadda, the greenery in the lobby by Rosalba Piccinni and the bespoke lighting by designer Cristina Celestino, founder of Attico design studio.
