Calle della Regina Polychrome Vase

Named after the Venetian street dedicated to Caterina Cornaro - the Queen of Cyprus in medieval times - this vase is distinguished by a dynamic flared shape with an array of yellow and light-blue murrinas englobed within. Seemingly floating above an empty, transparent base thanks to the "sommerso" technique that led to this encapsulation effect, the colorful mass of glass is also adorned with a black tracery also accenting the rim.
