This wheel-thrown vase boasts a one-of-a-kind surface obtained with a combination of a special blend of high-temperature stoneware clays and a second firing at 1300°C in an oxygen-reduction kiln. The surface of the piece, freed from all the impurities embedded in the clay, turns in a striking earth texture and natural and rich color which changes depending on the duration of the firing itself.
