Crafted using a unique blend of high-temperature stoneware clays, this vase is shaped on a wheel and fired twice in a kiln. The organic surface, characterized by evocative cracks and natural irregularities, is obtained with the second firing at very high temperatures in an oxygen-reduction kiln that brings out the clay's impurities resulting in a distinctive earth tone and texture.
