Good Vibrations Cabinet by Ferruccio Laviani

The creative blending of styles paired with an innate sense of wittiness led to the production of furniture such as the Good Vibrations storage unit by Ferruccio Laviani. Echoes of distant places as well as Oriental elements can be identified in the ‘disorienting’ design of this storage unit, which seems to have been ‘deformed’ by a strong jolt or by swaying movements. One of the ten pieces is on display at the Musée du Louvre (Paris) in its 'Decorative Arts' section.
