Bucephalus was the name of Alexander the Great's faithful steed, one of the best-known horses in the history of the world. This animal was famed for its dark black coat. Alexander is said to have tamed him by pointing him towards the fiery red sun so he could not see his shadow. This sculpture perfectly showcases the horse's dynamic movements.
