Giganti Champagne Cover by Lorenzo Foglia

This outstanding champagne cover in pure silver 999/°° from the Works of Art Collection celebrates the 700th anniversary of poet Dante Alighieri's death through the 3D reproduction of a scene from the Divine Comedy in which giants are imprisoned for their misbehavior. Embossing and chasing techniques were employed by master goldsmith Lorenzo Foglia who minutely and passionately handcrafted this prized glacette over several months.
