Arjumand’s World

Arjumand’s World

Lombardy, Italy

Arjumand’s World was founded in 2009 in Milan with Idarica Gazzoni, a wall decorator and designer specializing in fabric decoration, wallpaper and ceramics. Arjumand’s World is a small artisan enterprise that draws inspiration from the Ottoman, Mughal and Central Asian world. The idea stems from Arjumand's Mughal princess to whom the Taj Mahal was dedicated. The style is rich in ornamental details, both elegant and precise and recalls the art and aesthetics of different countries, from aristocratic Russia of the seventeenth century to China of the Miao ethnic group.
