Foglie Ceramic Christmas Ornament Black and Gold

This ceramic ornament is handmade and hand-decorated in Italy with pure gold intervention. Each ornament is fired three times in accordance with the ancient "Faenza" technique and is meant to be featherweight (70 to 90 gr), allowing it to be hung on any Christmas tree. To fix clay, the first fire is 1000°C for 12 hours. Then, the artisans paint, glaze, and fire it for 12 hours at 920°C. After cooling, it is brushed pure gold and re-fired at 720°C for 12 hours.
