Wabi-Sabi Ellipsis Jar

Handcrafted of "terraglia bianca", a special type of clay used in the traditional Lodi ceramic art, this one-of-a-kind vase is created with the century-old coiling technique (colombino) and finished with white glaze with black enamel englobe decorations. The distinctive cracks on the crystal-like surface that will form naturally over time are a sign of value and not a defect, reflecting the Wabi-Sabi Japanese philosophy of finding beauty within the imperfections that inspires the entire collection. Not suitable to contain water.
