The Kiss - Painting

Oil and acrylic on canvas and jute. Two women touch each other in a hesitant kiss. The figure on the right withdraws as if enraptured by her thoughts, made of courtship dances and the silhouettes of bodies. The two women are intertwined in an ethereal and dreamlike clandestine relationship. The artwork takes shape through the collage of jute canvas and a fishing net, creating a visual and tactile contrast. The canvas breaks and leaves room for the subconscious, inhabited by dancing figures.
