GLAD is an interior design firm established by Guy Lafranchi in 2011, specialized in innovative furniture inspired by architectural silhouettes and contemporary design. GLAD explores materials and styles to reveal an elegant interaction between traditional handcrafting techniques and modern production design, as the pieces are crafted at Riccardo Pitossi’s woodworking company Albero e Foglia in Travagliato, Brescia, specialized in custom-made furniture. GLAD utilizes an exclusive material, Corian©, whose stone-like texture confers an unmistakable modern touch.
