Wunderkammer: Cabinets of Curiosities

Also known as Cabinets of Curiosities, Wunderkammers have been showcasing the world's most interesting pieces since the 1500s. Natural wonders, anatomical statues and extravangt objects: explore our curated selection of furnishings and accessories featuring hand-carved wood sculputes by Bartolozzi e Maioli Bottega d'Arte, classical statues by Galleria Romanelli, and bronze-adorned functional decors by Dal Furlo.

Wunderkammers, or Cabinets of Curiosities, were first conceived as a showcase of the latest discoveries in science, anatomy and natural history in the sixteenth century. Works of art, antiquities and curious objects were displayed in ad-hoc rooms that everyone could visit to enter a world of exotic wonders from all across the globe.

In our Wunderkammer you'll find a modern interpretation of these curated selections, with fascinating pieces such as hand-carved wood sculputes by Bartolozzi e Maioli Bottega d'Arte, classical statues by Galleria Romanelli, and bronze-adorned functional decors by Dal Furlo.
