For Milan Design Week 2021, Artemest and Acqua di Parma partner on a limited-edition gift set that celebrates authentic Italian craftsmanship. Driven by a shared passion for Italian heritage, craftsmanship and quality, the two brands joined forces to combine Artemest’s artisanal approach with Acqua di Parma’s world of fragrances: the result is an elegant set of candles and engraved marble candle holders encased in an exquisite marbled paper box.

Italian craft and expertise merge in each element of the collaboration, elevating fine materials that are truly Italian. Acqua di Parma’s signature sunny yellow is matched with a refreshing monochrome palette. Sourcing across Italy from its network of 1,200+ artisans, Artemest enlisted the small Tuscan workshops of Carrara Home Design and Giulio Giannini & Sons for a touch of handmade expertise. Both artisans epitomize the height of Tuscan craftsmanship.

​Carrara Home Design, located in the heart of the Carrara marble quarries, reinvents artistic marble carving with a modern twist producing a custom-made candle holder in white Carrara and black Marquina marble, discreetly engraved with the Acqua di Parma and Artemest logos.

Giannini, founded in Florence in 1856, is one of the most ancient continuously operated bookbinding workshops in the world, now run by the sixth generation of the family in a tiny shop near Palazzo Pitti in Florence. Using the ancient technique of paper marbling, Maria Giannini hand-designed the playful pattern of the box featuring traditional motifs in vibrant shades of black, white and yellow.

The bespoke set is completed by an Acqua di Parma Home Collection – Italian Moments candle from a choice of three iconic scents: Buongiorno, Luce di Colonia and Oh, L’Amore. Illuminating personal spaces with signature moments of the Italian life and the pleasures of being at home, it is a definitive collection that expresses the scents of fine living.
