Manuel Coltri

Veneto, Italy

Based in Verona, Manuel Coltri’s experience and research of traditional natural stone processing and crafting techniques led him to his new project, Hacker, created with Paolo De Vivo and Milan-based DWA Design Studio in 2019. Hacker is a collection of repurposed production-waste marble pieces based on the idea of deconstructed stratification, where unused parts of stones are carefully selected, cut, re-composed and combined in a manual process. Geometric and graphic patterns create hypnotic designs representative of the masterful manual work that stands behind each unique piece.
